The Metropolitan Opera Opening Night at Times Square

The live simulcast of Samson and Delila was relayed to the audiences at Times Square, by The Met Opera, a gala opening tradition on it’s 13th year running.

 

Crowds from all over the world gathered at Military Island and Duffy Square on the evening of September 24th; awaiting for the grand Opening Night Gala of The Metropolitan Opera's 2018-19 season. With thousands of seats available with free admission, live transmission was delivered to multiple screens on the Times Square billboards. That has been a tradition of the Met Opera for the past 13 years and counting.

Tiger Party has had the honor to take part in such an iconic event for the past five years. Tiger Party ensured a seamless, memorable experience for all participants through the synchronization of live opera broadcasts and allocation of different content in their assigned time and destination. Thousands of eyes glistened at Saint-Saëns’s biblical epic Samson and Delila, simulcasted on screens in Times Square including ABC SuperSign, American Eagle Times Square, Bank of America Times Square, Branded Cities Network (Reuters Sign and Nasdaq Tower), City Outdoor, Clear Channel Spectacolor HD 126, 127, and 128, and Jamestown One Times Square.
